Grounded work is a vibrant co-working space filled with freelancers, small business owners and any form of entrepreneur. The concept of co-working is a relatively new concept for business owners in Pretoria but in the Moot area the advantages of a shared working space was seen and the owners let the creativity spill over to the open space next to the existing business.

The expansion provided the opportunity for a larger and more diverse working environment that will accommodate a larger group of co-workers with different requirements.  There are now more private offices to rent, desks with built in storage as well as hot desks.  A new addition is the common area the provide some space to socialize with a cup of coffee and anyone is welcome to sit there and experience the co-working environment for themselves.

The flexible open area is used for large workshops and Grounded works’ regular meetups with an invited guest speaker.

The decoration is built on the existing contemporary industrial design with splashes of bright colours.  The whole space is surrounded by greenery and the smell of coffee fills the space with the occasional smell of baked biscuits and hot chocolate.  This creates a comfortable, homely space away from home.
